Danny Crawford

Owner - ASE Certified Master Technician

Danny and Kelley opened The Auto Shop in 2010 and he is an integral part of the day to day operations as manager/owner.  Danny started working at his father’s garage, Larry’s Amoco in California MO when he was 10 years old and worked his way to mechanic. From there he became a mechanic at Capital City Lincoln Mercury Jeep Eagle AMC Renault, Lou Harts Auto Repair and then he began his work with Honda Jefferson City.


Kelley Crawford

Owner - ASE Certified Support

Kelley and husband, Danny opened The Auto Shop in 2011 and she has been an integral part of building the business and holds an ASE certification for Certified Service Advisor for the past three years. Kelley attended Helias High School and graduated from Lincoln University with Psychology/Mathematics degrees. During her free time she enjoys gardening, painting and taking care of her pets. She grew up in Jefferson City with her parents Tom and Lola Parris and four brothers and has two children. The oldest son, Tobias who is in the welding program at State Technical College in Linn and Nolan, the youngest is in highschool and works at the shop as a motorcycle mechanic part time after school.


Sydney Paris

Sydney currently goes to a Blair Oaks and will be graduating in the class of 2020.  She likes to spend her time in school with yearbook, friends, and archery. Sydney is a member of the Blair Oaks Archery club and competed at State and Nationals. This was her first year in archery, and is on a fast track to show her true talent in archery. Sydney joined our team in October of 2017.


John Acton

ASE Certified Technician

John joined The Auto Shop in January 2018 as a technician.  John grew up in California MO and has four children and enjoys motorcycle


Dani Taggart

ASE Certified Technician

Dani started working at The Auto Shop in June of 2015. She is a graduate from Helias High School and State Technical College, specializing in hybrid technology. Dani is retired from the Missouri Army National Guard, in which she served for six years. She is an ASE certified mechanic in brakes, suspension and steering and refrigeration, and is continuing her certifications in other vehicle repairs. Dani likes to read, listen to music, and enjoys helping out at her brother in laws’ farm. Dani would work all day on cars in the driveway with her Dad as she grew up. She was born and raised here in Jefferson City, has one sister, and is very close with her. Her parents are from Jefferson City, and are active members in the community.

austin loethen

Austin joined the team in March 2018 as an intern. Austin lives in Meta with his parents and graduated from Fatima High School. Austin grew up with his brother and now is proud uncle to his nephew, Elijah. Austin is currently a student at State Technical College and his major is General Automotive and Hybrid Technology and due to graduate in 2019. Austin hobbies include working and riding dirt bikes and street bikes, hunting and fishing.


Brandon Wardenhousen

Ryu Taggart

Ryu is 18 years old, Japanese born race car driver. he first started racing karts in 2006 at the age of 5. Over the next ten years, he amassed several karting track championships in Japan and in 2015, he finished 3rd (out of over 7000 drivers) in the highly competitive Red Bull Kart Fight. Ryu moved to America in 2016 and resumed his racing career in 2017. Competing in America was critical to the pursuit of his ultimate ambition: becoming a NASCAR Cup driver. During his first season in the USA, he placed 163rd out of 1000+ drivers nationally (USRA National Dirt Modifieds) and this, after having missed two races. Ryu was honored to get a trophy dash win on his birthday and three months after, Ryu’s first feature victory. In 2018, he finished 4th the championship and was awarded Missouri State Rookie of the Year. In October of 2018 Ryu was selected as one of the twelve drivers to go to NASCAR’s Diversity Combine. “It was an amazing experience to be so close to my ultimate goal in life and I pursue each challenge in the only way I know..... 100% complete dedication!” Taggart stated. Ryu started working at The Auto Shop in March of 2018. He started as a lube tech and choose to have his internship here as a service advisor to further his education.  Ryu likes to spend his free time going on a long drive. He also likes to spend time with his family and especially his dogs Lucy and Sora.
